Jerry McDonald was born and raised in Rhode Island and after graduating high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served until his retirement in 1997. Immediately following his military career, he entered his current career field and has been managing large-scale, upscale communities for over 25 years. This is the second time for Jerry here at the Fairways, he was the General Manager from March 2009 to September 2015. He says he is here this time until retirement!
Jerry has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in Management from Webster University. His professional designations include the Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) from the California Association of Community Managers and the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) from the Community Association Institute.
When Jerry is not working, he enjoys working out at the gym, going to San Diego on the weekends to spend time with his children and grandchildren or traveling, both domestic and international.
Jerry prides himself on being available to the homeowners. He loves to meet new people so please stop by his office at the Signature Clubhouse and join him for a cup of coffee.
Christina LaScala

Christina Lascala is an Assistant General Manager with more than 20 years of experience in the homeowners association (HOA) industry. She began her career in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant and, through dedication, continuous learning, and a strong commitment to excellence, advanced into leadership roles overseeing community operations and management.
In 2024, Christina earned her Certified Community Association Manager (CACM) designation, demonstrating her expertise in California community association management, governance, and best practices. She is passionate about building strong relationships with homeowners, boards of directors, vendors, and team members while promoting transparent communication, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
Throughout her career, Christina has developed extensive experience in community operations, board relations, project coordination, compliance, budgeting support, and team leadership. She is committed to fostering well-managed communities that enhance the quality of life for residents while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Michelle Reese
Executive Assistant – PGA WEST Fairways

Michelle has worked as the Assistant to the General Manager of a luxury high-rise condominium in Los Angeles and as an Assistant Manager for a high-profile on-site midrise condominium located in Hollywood.
Michelle decided to return to the La Quinta area after commuting for over a year. She joined the Fairways Team in January 2016.
Michelle brings her great attention to detail, organizational skills, and high level of customer service to the team by providing assistance to the Fairways Management Team, Board of Directors, District Delegates, and the homeowners.

The PGA WEST Fairways community, established in 1998, is professionally managed by The Management Trust, Desert Division and is one of the three residential associations at PGA WEST.
